According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, Most Valuable Player is defined as the player who contributes the most to his or her team’s success. In 2020, Theoris wanted to take a moment each week to recognize someone from our team who went above and beyond to help ensure our success and demonstrate our culture.
Our culture is based on what we call our Service Quality Objectives (SQO’s). We believe the foundation for our service is competence and reliability. After the foundation is established, we can then build responsiveness, concern, communication, confidentiality, professionalism, and courtesy. We believe those who win the MVP award exhibit these values and are a model for the rest of us!
To make the MVP award more fun we use a belt that models the WWF Championship belt. Annually, whoever gets the most weekly wins gets to keep the belt, bragging rights, and a gift card to show our appreciation. To win the weekly award, nominations are taken and teammates give reasons why they feel their nominee should win. The whole team then votes and the winner is declared.
After we tallied up all the weekly winners of the MVP we ended up with a tie! Let’s give a round of applause to both Brent Brown and Katey Wellman.
In 2020, Brent was recognized for consistently meeting every recruiting goal that was put in front of him. He relished every challenge, adapted when needed, and lead by example. We feel very lucky to have Brent on our team!
In 2020, Katey consistently had the most placements and job order activity of our team. She’s always looking for ways to expand our business and help others in their respective roles. She demonstrated what it looks like to pursue success for our sales team.
We are so proud of both Katey and Brent! We can’t wait to see who wins 2021!
